Dear Luxe Beauty Co...Being part of the wedding industry has exposed me to various national vendors as well as wedding day success stories and a few "Oh, I am so sorry that happened" wedding stories. I of all people understand the importance of booking a quality service but when planning my own wedding in this economy I repeatedly faced the BIG "Budget" word. Down to the remaining 30 days until my big day, I was delt the unfortunate experience of dealing with a not-so-professional salon. In the mist of finding myself where most brides do, in a pool of tears accompanied by stress, I referenced the BEST of my resources and fell upon Luxe Beauty Co. of Atlanta. Luxe Beauty not only fit my needs as mobile beauty service for my destination wedding in Savannah but the deliicate and professional manner in which they handled the most important day of my life contributed to all my dreams coming true. To sum it all up, their amazing team was able to make me look how I felt on that day. Wedding Portraiture is about capturing the light reflected from a subject. Our brides immediately see the value of hiring a photographer and styling team that understands this when they receive their images post wedding. So many brides fail to weigh the significance of properly taking care of their skin during the stressful days leading up to their wedding. We also find that the "Do It Yourself Bride" often lacks the knowledge to execute their wedding look in a flawless and timeless fashion. Those same brides neglect to see the big picture ( the one of them with blemishes, dark circles, sweat glare and frizzy hair) and realize that most photographers will charge $90 an hour for retouching. Having the perfect look cuts back image editing time up to 75%. Make-up Do you offer airbrush make-up? We do not offer airbrush make-up, based on the level of quality and precise color matching available with hand applied (Professional Grade) make-up. All of the photos used in the website are done with hand applied make-up.I have had my make-up done professionally in my friends' wedding--I hated it, it was thick, heavy, and caked on. Is your make-up "natural looking"?We get this question most often! Our make-up artists are selected based on their ability to provide make-up that is 'fresh' and 'glowing'. The term natural is difficult to define, as natural for one bride may be too "heavy" and "too light" for another. The make-up trial run is the key in making sure that the level of make-up is perfect for the individual bride. *Majority of our brides consider themselves to be minimal make-up wearers*I have really oily skin and I am worried about my make-up lasting through my wedding day--how do you accomplish this?All make-up will have natural wear and tear--professional grade make-up with an experienced artist will have the least wear and tear. With skin specific primers,waterproof eye make-up, and foundations, you can be assured that your skin will look flawless!Keep in mind: Brides getting married in warmer months outside will need to take additional precauttions to avoid excessive wear and tear due to the heat and humidity.I have sensitive skin that tends to break out with some make-up products, have you worked with brides that have sensitive skin?Yes, we have worked with many brides that have varying sensitivity to make-up with no issues on their big day. When working with your make-up artist be sure to list all known sensitivities and the products that you have had issues with. Do you have make-up artists that are experienced with; Asian, Indian, and African American skin tones?Yes, many of our clients are women of color. With all make-up artists' experienced in all colors and an extensive collection of shades of make-up in their kits--brides of any ethnic background and age can be sure to be comfortable with their look!HairDo you offer hair extensions?We do not sell extensions, however we are able to provide the APPLICATION of 'clip in' extensions that are removable. We refer brides to a local Atlanta trusted/qualified retail location where you can purchase color matched hair based on what style and texture you are looking for on your wedding day.How long does it take to have my hair/make-up done on the day of (and my bridesmaids?)We typically like to allocate 45-1hr for the bride's hair/45-1hr for the bride's make-up. The bridal party has an allocation of 45 minutes per hairstyle/45 minutes per make-up application. We always provide the bride with additional time so she is not rushed. Many times our staff finishes up ahead of schedule, depending on the bridal party.GeneralWhat if my make-up artist/stylist cannot be there for my wedding day? (Ex: illness, family emergency,etc)This is a very common question and an understandable concern for any bride who knows that in life sometimes, the unforseeable happens (without warning). We have a dedicated and dependable staff who know the crucial importance of a wedding day--they know this is YOUR DAY. However, if in the absolute dire emergency that your booked stylist/artist was not available: Luxe Beauty Co has a team of talented, experienced, and professional staff that would step in to provide services. You can take assurance knowing that ALL staff hired are professionals that take their responsibility to you with the utmost respect. Can I come to your studio/salon for a lower price?We believe that the experience of having a talented team of professional professionals that come to your; home, hotel suite, or wedding venue is a priceless investment that every bride should make. With your best friends and close family by your side and the room service close at hand---having your own personal beauty team is the added touch that will insure your wedding day starts and ends beautifully.
